Help Me Focus Kynetx App
I’ve gotten sick of constantly going to web pages where the main thing I want to do is a search and the site doesn’t put my cursor focus in the search input box. Gah!
I have decided to make a Kynetx app that helps me with this annoyance and you are free to use it and give feedback (things like, ‘I wish it worked on this site’ or ‘Dude! This is awesome!’).
*It is currently only helping on a few sites but I will be adding sites as I run across them and people suggest them.
If you have the extension installed and working, you can see a list of domains that the app is helping you focus on at the end of this post inserted by the extension.

If you had the extension installed and running properly, you would see this replaced with a list of the sites that the extension is currently helping on

Thanks for the great extension! Can you add rubygems.org to the list?
Simply brilliant! See a need, fill a need.
@Mike Farmer, absolutely! Thanks for the suggestion. : )
Thanks @Ed! Look forward to getting ideas of where the extension should help. : )
Long time fan, first time commenter. The application is cool, but Amazon’s site breaks it with their floating holiday goat advert. After the site loads and your app runs, a float is loaded on the right side of a holiday goat, and the little green arrow runs away.
Thanks for your comment and feedback Q. Wade! I’m sad I haven’t gotten to see the floating goad advert yet but I can explain the green arrow running away. I didn’t thing people would want a green arrow to always be there on the page so I put it up to point to the focus point and then have it fade away shortly after to keep it out of the way. I tested the app again on amazon and it appears to still be working for me. Let me know if you have any other issues with the extension.
